Mahara Jabal Kishan, the diwan of Sultan Alam Wajid Ali Shah,
Was a wealthy and generous figure who invited sadhus from India to a festival in Lucknow during the rainy season. The festival, which lasted for four months, was a significant event in the kingdom. The Nawab Ali Naqi Khan, the Prime Minister of the kingdom, was unhappy with the sadhus's annual gatherings and hoped that Wajid Ali Shah would end the festival.
One day, the Nawab teased the Maharaja in the king's court about the festival and the expenses incurred by the sadhus. The Maharaja was angry and claimed that the money was from the royal treasury, which was caused by drinking alcohol. The king, however, was unaware of the situation and was unable to see the king.
As the festival continued, the king noticed a young monk, Kishan Das, who was a devotee of Shri Krishnaji Maharaj. He asked her about her devotion and shared stories of Krishna Leela, a flower-played song. The king was surprised and asked her to start the Jo Gaya Fair in Kaiser Bagh.
An old yogi approached the king and asked him about his intentions. The story highlights the importance of respecting one's beliefs and not judging others based on appearances.
“Mahabali, you appeared here by our hundred fate, now it is our prayer that we all get your darshan.”

The king smiled. All the saints started looking at him with happiness. Then the king joined the procession and after some time the procession went out of the Ash Bagh door, but two or three royal officials, ten and twelve servants and a huge chest remained in the Ash Bagh. Officials told that the king has ordered that every sadhu should be given five rupees for charity on his own behalf.
Jogi ji, we ourselves had come to see you all, but after saying this, he slowly called the golden reins of his horse and once again circled Moti Lake. The tinkling of coins could be heard in Aishbagh till late night.
The same night Maharaja Bal Kishan reached the court of Wajid Ali Shah. After some time the bar was saved. Ali Naqi came from Khas Mahal and sat on the throne. After talking to other courtiers, the king called Mahara Jabal Kishan before him. Saw, then said. Raja, today we went to Bish Bagh to see your fair.”
Mahara Jana said with folded hands
This festival has been going on since the time of Mahara Ja Nikit Roy, but you have expanded it a lot, thousands of sadhus come, we heard that you keep everyone in your house for four months.
You eat with purity.”
Sweat appeared on the Maharaja's forehead; he did not know how to respond to the king's words. During this time he heard the voice of the king. Ra Ja, we have never been so happy with your work. Smile softly and 44 "Indeed, Sultan Alam, Ali Naqi Khan had to say. Indeed, indeed." All these saints come to our city and stay in our garden, then become our guests. Why sir Alam?
Then the burden of their hospitality should not fall on the king's pocket. Now every year all this expense is ours
From the treasury."
Saying this the king went to rest. Almost forty years passed, it was time for Durga Puja. Some sadhus who had come from far away places were sitting in the garden of a big temple in Calcutta and talking to the priest of the temple. Many of these saints
Wajid Ali stayed as Shah's guest at Aish Bagh in Lucknow during the royal period. He regretted that after conquering the whole of India, the British also captured the state of Awadh and left Lucknow. The priest said that since the capture of the Sultanate, Wajid Ali Shah has been kept in Miya Burj, an area of Calcutta and he is currently ill.

The priest said, “What if his kingdom is no more, he is there, he is the last king of our country. Then."

In the evening, that old sadhu was standing on the side of the road in front of the gate of Imambara Sabatinabad built by Wajid Ali Shah in Naya Burj. From the talk in the markets he came to know that the king was about to return from his journey and would descend on the same platform. After some time, a small procession of royal carriages appeared. As soon as the carriage passed by, the sage looked carefully at the king. Even in old age, he looked very handsome and handsome. His eyes were swollen thinking, but there was a slight smile on his lips. The rider passed in front of the monk. At the gate, the king was supported by many people and disembarked, but instead of entering the gate, the king turned and left the supporters behind and walked slowly alone towards the crowd, who saw him. Perhaps this was a new thing, so the whole crowd was shocked to see the king coming. Only the monk remained sitting in his place until the king came very close to him. The monk got tired of folding his hands and the king said. The monk remained silent for some time, then spoke in a sour voice
"Mahabali you recognized me."
for friends
Will we not recognize our guests? The king said, the turtles spoke again. Pira-gi, that day in Ish Bagh, when we were kings, when you used to hum or lokha. we are no longer kings
Then why do you call us Mubahali?" Mahabali said to Paragi. A king is the heart of a man. You are a king and you will always be a king, but every king is not given this. You both have mercy and Mahabali Meanwhile, the people accompanying the king came closer, but the king remained standing there asking about the conditions of the journey. When Biraagi said that he was going back tonight with the dog, the king asked.
We won't have guests? This happened then, but now we ourselves are poor.” Then he took out a necklace with big pearls from his neck and passed it towards Biraagi. Give it to us. Paragi took the necklace with both his hands and put it on his eyes. The king turned and took the help of many people. Walking slowly, he entered the gate of Sabtainabad. After a long and tiring journey, when Kishandas Piraagi returned to his monastery, his disciples informed him that King Wajid Ali Shah of Awadh had died in Calcutta. After hearing this news, Bera did not say anything. But he did not come out of his house till three days later. On the fourth day the disciples saw Paragai lying dead. A necklace of big pearls was placed around her eyes. Paragi's tears were shining like small beads on some of the beads of the necklace.
